Celebration/Memorial for Prof. Ann Fitzgerald

Prof. Ann Fitzgerald

A Celebration/Memorial of Prof. Ann Fitzgerald’s life was held on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the Rubin Museum of Art, 150 West 17th Street.   Prof. Fitzgerald loved this museum, at which she had spoken this year, and Dr. Lauter felt it was a most appropriate place and a time very close to what would have been their 27th anniversary.

Dr. Lauter is also planning a book of photographs and writings (poems, reminiscences, fiction, whatever seems fitting).  If you have photographs or something you would like to write or have written that he might consider including, please send them directly to him.

A number of people have asked about an organization to which they might contribute in Prof. Fitzgerald’s name.  Dr. Lauter suggests Doctors Without Borders or Amnesty International, organizations to which he and Prof. Fitzgerald have regularly donated.
